On second thoughts, I thought you could only get stuff from lvl 20+ :s Monster minions prehaps. Who knows.

You could get the points from any Lvl Minon that a Monster created, I saw alot of it Vanquishing the Kurzick areas of late. Also, B/c of it, I got around 5k Faction each zone vanquished, big reason, the created minons giving faction points. People could keep making Flesh Golems, having it die, Monster makes minons, kill minons, get Faction, rinse and repeat!

<-- Happiness.
A little bit of excitement to see what changes I'll make to my regular builds. I wonder a bit about LoD, but its nice to be able to realistically consider other heal elites. Its nice too to see some balanced balancing as well - buffs with some tweaks and a few nerfs. Too often I look at these and its primarily nerfs with a few buffs to things no one uses or would consider using still even after a buff. Interesting update, this one.

Great...so now Mhenlo in GW:EN is completely useless. I don't mind the rest of the changes but please think of the PvE henchmen when you make these changes. Some of them use these skills...

Overall, I like the changes to monk skills... However I think the nerf to Healer's Boon and LoD were mistakes.

It's not almost worthless. It IS worthless. At the way they're going to change it it makes its "elite" status pretty questionable.

LoD seems a bit extreme to me. Casting time in particular. You just wont get that off in PvE HM or PvP. Not entirely sure yet about HB but it may work ok as offered in this update. You have the cost of constantly recasting it, but you have the extra energy regen.

Ouch for LoD. Time to come up with a new monk hero build. On the issue whether it's still worthy of elite status, I'll say that it is. It's just no longer a valedictorian, but still reasonably close to the top of the class.

i'd barely call the HB change a nerf... being able to use it with 4 pips seems like quite the buff to me.

Sundering Weapon is still rubbish.
LoD's nerf is too harsh, I think.
WoH bosses just got a little bit more annoying.

LoD nerf is good. Teams rely on it too much to hold their stand teams together. Now that LoD has been removed more split tactics will happen making more tactical and thought out plans in GvG battles.
Healer's Boon change is a buff. Its counter, which could not be reset by recast, was a very stupid limitation. On top of that giving -1 energy regen while using up my elite spot with no elite energy management to sustain the build. Non elite energy management would not be enough to sustain the build either.
Since its no longer a maintained enchantment I'd like to see the recharge.

Can't wait to start abusing HB
Or mimicry LoD and then HB LoD...might be useful again after that nerf.

The fact that spiritway/thumpers still didn't get nerfed sucks a bit (imo) because so many people just play heroes ascent by playing a thumper and nothing else, without that a bit of variety might get going. I know people who are just getting into HA like playing thumper because they can easily play it and get into groups but fire ele is also easy to play and it would be good to see more balanced teams back in HA.

I say that energy from spirits is a bit awkward, since it's really the spirit, and it's already dead. Minions I can agree with energy on, as the attribute would do nothing in PvP. Having minions lets you have an upperhand with enemies.
I'd say things more like Insideous Parasite, and other anti-melee things need to get hit. It seems like today, playing with a warrior is pointless, as everything now blocks or hurts you everytime you swing your weapon.
As for Shadow Prison, I would LOVE to revert Shadow Prison back to the original state of which it was, just make Tiger stance go to 2 seconds again, but increase the duration of the skill with higher strength. Same goes for Burst of Aggression. No one uses it, because it's lame, so why is it in there? It should give a bonus for taking away adrenaline, such as for every adrenaline skill that was full, you get say, +2 energy?
Spell casting assassins...not much I can say to that, other than increase the cooldown of the skill, and increase the damage to make up for it. It would stop the 'DD' spam which is the main source of damage for the builds.
Blocking and melee bashing skills, need to be nerfed. I can't hit a ranger worth crap, because they 'block' everything. And while I'm at it, their necro throws on Insideous, SS, and empathy. Terrific. I mean, I don't mind the combo, it's great, but being able to repeatedly stack those on me non-stop, isn't so great.
I'd say reduce the blocking skills from 75% to 66% for starters, and give warriors more skills that are unblockable. Strength skills, or tactical. After all, Dervishes are supposed to be the 'agile' ones, not rangers.

They really should have done something to GoLE. That's what's making all the passive defense work. If the number of spells affected was tied to e-storage, making it useless on a monk, it would have made PvP alot more interesting.
The SP sins also needs to be adjusted, especially since lod got changed, atleast regarding gvg, you might have to run party heals on the flagger again, since there is gonna be more active splitting now.
